Skill points

A skill point is a point from a pool of such points created during character generation which the player can spend to raise their skill scores above their base values, at a cost of one skill point per point of score. There are certain rules to how these can be spent; see the character generation rules for details.

Skill points not spent during character creation are lost. Skills are not advanced this way after character creation; see skill advancement.
